Elseware Express (vol 1)

Elseware Express (vol 1) is a board game that plays 1-6 players (5-6 w/ expansion) where players take on the roles of investors 4 years before the world is taken over by an A.I. Over 4 rounds, players move through 6 phases taking actions, manipulating the market, and building tracks to make the most cash before everything comes crashing down. 

Some unique elements: 

• Every game has a unique map built by the players!* Players draft the map during setup, making each game its own new challenge! (*set maps are available in the back of the rulebook)
• Similar to 18xx train games, but different! While it follows some ideas like phases, track building, and company turns, Elseware Express adjusts many of these elements to be quicker and more approachable to casual gamers. A fantastic introduction to the 'train game' genre!
• No paper money or Poker chips needed! Elseware Express use dual layered boards players track their money on in a very small area. (This cuts a lot of time from traditional train games, there's no time spent making change or managing cards or stacked components)
• Low values! Traditional train games work in the hundreds or thousands, many zeros must be calculated in many phases of the game, but not in Elseware Express! We've wacked off all those zeros and players only deal with 'profits' in a future currency called Bitliths. 
• Deliveries matter! During the delivery phase, investors can contribute products they warehouse to their company's delivery runs. But different cities have different demands, and together if the actions of all investors over-deliver or don't meet demand product prices and city benefits could tank or rise. (lots of stock manipulation opportunities in this game)
• Plays solo! Face off against Alora, an A.I. god who's bringing it all to an end in 4 rounds. Simple turns, she just flips a card and does the action shown. A challenging opponent that takes her turns in seconds.
• Two editions! There's a 1-4 player box and a 1-2 player box to give folks affordable options depending on their typical play group. Each box is the same game, but provides different components that can later be mixed and matched for more variety or combined to expand the player count to up to 6 players!
